Plasma Research Laboratory
There is a plasma research laboratory in the department of physics, wherein theoretical research is carried out under the supervision of Dr Prerana Sharma. This laboratory has computing facility which is used for theoretical modelling and simulations.
Luminescenece Laboratory
This laboratory is headed by Dr Rakesh Kumar Rai. This labortory has a customized muffle furnace, hot air oven, which is used for thermal treatment and synthesis of the samples. In this laboratory devices available for study of mechanoluminescence excited by impact loading and by applying gradually varing pressure, shaking of the sample with varying frequency, amplitude of shaking and varying amount of the sample. This devices were designed and developed by Dr Rakesh Kumar Rai.
