Program Educational Objective (PEOs) of the CE Department
The following are the expected outcomes from the program:
PEO1: To impart quality technical education to the students regarding the conventional fields, existing codes of practice, emerging areas and software skills required for facing the emerging challenges in the field of civil engineering.
PEO2: To develop competence in the student community for offering technical solutions to complex infrastructural problems through application of their core knowledge in the analysis, design, quality control and execution in the field of civil engineering contributing to regional and national development.
PEO3: To inculcate good interpersonal skills and leadership qualities for working in a team with self-confidence, enthusiasm, professionalism and ethical values for adapting the changes in the work environment.
PEO4: To motivate the students in taking up higher studies, preparing for competitive examinations and participating in various curricular and extra-curricular activities for their career advancement.
